New Delhi (Business Emerge), August 22: IFERP’s reach extends across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, establishing partnerships in countries like Iraq, Maldives, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. These collaborations reflect a global trend of increasing international cooperation in sustainability research, which is crucial for addressing today’s complex challenges.
In a world where the demand for research focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is steadily growing, IFERP is poised to make an even greater impact. With plans for expansion, the organization is set to deepen its influence on global sustainability initiatives.
The Institute for Educational Research and Publication (IFERP), established a decade ago in Chennai, has swiftly become a significant force in linking academia with industry to promote sustainable development. By working closely with universities and research scholars, IFERP has facilitated the publication of over 28,673 scientific papers, all contributing to the advancement of SDG-related initiatives.
IFERP has successfully engaged in more than 320 collaborations and memorandums of understanding (MOUs), organized 400+ global conferences, and conducted over 212 virtual events. These efforts are directly aligned with key SDGs, such as:
- Promoting quality education and lifelong learning (SDG 4)
- Fostering innovation and developing resilient infrastructure (SDG 9)
- Advancing scientific research and technological capabilities (SDG 11)
Globally, over 1,400 universities from 106 countries have committed to the SDGs through the UN’s Higher Education Sustainability Initiative. In India, more than 100 higher education institutions, private enterprises, and non-governmental organizations are actively involved in SDG-related research and initiatives. Amid this growing commitment, IFERP stands out as a pivotal player, driving collaboration and innovation to support these goals.
As recent studies indicate, the sustainability consulting market is projected to reach $16 billion worldwide by 2027, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17% from 2020 to 2027. In this dynamic landscape, IFERP continues to play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic research and practical industry applications, fostering sustainable development on a global scale.
